Corneal Analysis

CornealAnalysis transforms slit lamp photos into a 3D corneal model, enabling precise measurement of lesion coordinates and surface area. This technology supports the evaluation of conditions such as scars and ulcers and facilitates customized intervention planning, including ablation area phototherapeutic keratectomy.

OCT Analysis

OCT Analysis

A patented algorithm that detects corneal haze and post-crosslinking demarcation lines on OCT scans, OCT Analysis has been pivotal in multiple clinical studies, contributing to new research topics and clinical guidelines in refractive surgery. The tool’s objective metrics enable effective follow-up for patients after corneal collagen cross-linking or with corneal scarring.

Toric IOL Fix (Beta)

Toric IOL Fix (Beta)

Provides targeted corrections for misaligned Toric intraocular lenses and implantable collamer lenses in astigmatism patients, allowing clinicians to accurately adjust implants based on slit lamp imaging.

Dr. Awwad brings deep experience in clinical ophthalmology and refractive surgery. A professor and director of Cornea & Refractive Surgery at the American University of Beirut, Dr. Awwad applies his expertise in physics and optics to enhance patient outcomes through advanced AI-driven interventions.

Jad F. Assaf, MD

COO & Head of Medical Research

Dr. Assaf co-directs the Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (AIM) Program at the American University of Beirut, bringing a research-driven approach to corneal imaging and AI integration. His interests and research are focused on artificial intelligence and biomedical analytics, namely corneal imaging and corneal tomography.
