A professor and director of Cornea & Refractive Surgery at the American University of Beirut, Dr. Awwad applies his expertise in physics and optics to enhance patient outcomes through advanced AI-driven interventions.

Jad F. Assaf, MD

Dr. Assaf co-directs the Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (AIM) Program at the American University of Beirut, bringing a research-driven approach to corneal imaging and AI integration. His interests and research are focused on artificial intelligence and biomedical analytics, namely corneal imaging and corneal tomography.
